Q: Why is my hair so dry, even when I use hair creams and oils?

A: If you are experiencing dry hair, it may be because you need more moisture in your hair.  Try using the sealing method to trap in the moisture.  The method involves putting leave in conditioner on your hair followed by oil/cream to seal in moisture.  The Cocoshea collection offers this benefit.

Q: Why does my hair always seem not to grow past a certain length?

A: Hair grows about 1/4 to 1/2 inch every month, there is no reason your hair should stop growing at a certain length, if you are healthy.  If you don't have any health issues, you should expect to grow your hair with a healthy hair care routine.  Set your hair goal for 3 to 6 inches of hair growth a year!!

Q: Why is my hair breaking and losing volume

A: There are any number of reasons why your hair can be breaking - unnecessary shedding, including your health, the clothes you wear (beware of wool sweaters) to name a few.  Assuming all is well and you are still having breakage --  you may need more moisture in your hair.  (see answer for question 1.)

Q: I have very dry scalp, what should I do?

A:  Taking care of your scalp is the most important part of your hair growing success. You need to keep it clean and clear of any product build-up. If you have dry scalp,  try deep conditioning with extra virgin coconut oil before you wash your hair. You should see immediate benefits -- less flaking and shinier hair.  Also try Cocoshea Butter Cream Smoothie as scalp cream.  For intense scalp therapy try our new Formula B * Scalp Therapy
